Stuck on "textbook" meanings? Do certain
cards have you stumped? Look no further.

In this three hour workshop Karen Bentley
will guide participants thru a series of dynamic
improvisational acting games adapted for tarot readers.
These games will cultivate fast thinking, enhance
creativity, increase intuitive awarness
and help eliminate the dreaded "readers block"
known to stifle the most seasoned tarot readers.
Students will leave this course with the confidence to go with
the flow in their tarot readings and a toolbox of tips and
tricks to enrich their tarot "peformance".

Open to readers of all levels. No acting or tarot related experience required.
Limit 12 per class. Please bring a notebook to record creative breakthroughs.
A giant "Rider-Waite" sized deck will be used for the games but students should
bring their own decks for the improvisational writing excercises.

I'm always looking for innovative ways to market my business and work with Tarot. So, instead of doing boring fictitious readings for A-list celebrities, I found local movers, shakers, and celebs to read for and include in the "Celebrity Tarot Readings" album on my Facebook Fan Page. My dream of reading Tarot at the restored Masonic Temple materialized on August 13 when I had an opportunity to read Tarot at the private "Closing Party" for the prestigious Flicker Rhode Island International Film Festival hosted by Temple Downtown. The atmoshphere was high energy and the eclectic crowd was UBER enthusiastic about their readings. What more could I ask for? I had a great time and got to rub elbows, and read Tarot for some UBER cool people like Independent Film Maker/Directors Michael Midgkin and East Providence native M.T Silva- WOW! Also had a chance to read Tarot at the 2nd Annual Children's Wish Group Ladies Night Fundraiser

at the Cactus Grille on the 25th of August. Almost did'nt make it because I locked my keys in my car and had to wait 90minutes for AAA to get there. Ugh. Anyway-I made it and the night went by super fast. Did about 30 readings in just under 3 hours, so I was pretty wired by night's end.  Was nice to catch  up with some old friends and make great contacts for a GREAT cause.

Chocolate...

I decided to reward myself with the mouth-watering decadence of the world famous “Chocolate Bar” at The Langham Hotel in Boston last Saturday. Not only did I indulge my insatiable sweet tooth with world class confectionary delights, I made an invaluable contact and generated ideas born of synthesis, and the magic of solitude! Will definitely incorporate more travel and exploration into my tarot adventures as the online portion of my business picks up- that way I can do readings from anywhere in the world…..talk about MOTIVATION!

I took one look at the  new Morroccan tea house on Governor street and KNEW I belonged there! lol.
The place is gorgeous!! Anywho: will be peforming ten minute readings on Sunday's starting June 19th from 7-11pm.
